| Being I was a single at a London B&B it was perfect for my needs. Access to Paddington Station was a big help in a busy city. The staff was superior, professional and on the surface "stress free". | |

| First impressions are lasting and while desk staff we encountered did the job clerically there was a distinct lack of warmthand expression of genuine welcome. They almost gave the impression of being on their guard. The number 19 bedroom was described as ensuite, but it really is cramped conditions with a shower and wash hand basin added for 'good measure.' Ensuite normally implies w.c.,w.h.b.and shower. The toilet facility on the landing vitally lacks a wash hand basin. The breakfast provided was good and the staff amenable, helpful and efficient. We did report that the toilet in room 7 would not flush properly. A note was made of this but nothing done about it. These things can sway a person's judgement as to whether to return or not especially if more favourable premises are near at hand. Every missed return visit means a loss of revenue. However the place was clean and warm, with a very acceptable breakfast and the hotel itself is near to facilities. The price is reasonable and I probably would return given that these issues were attended toand overall I enjoyed my stay. | |

| Just made a new booking at the hotel. Stayed there for a night in january. Small rooms, but clean. Friendly staff. And the location is superb, easy to find, short walk from train, bus and underground. | |

| My first stay at this hotel, also my last. On the plus side, location for Paddington excellent and the staff all helpful and friendly. Room was clean. However although the room size was adequate, the bathroom was so small it was very difficult to actually get to or sit on the toilet. I'm sure a larger person would have found it impossible! No shampoo or shower gel provided. English (described as famous Cardiff) breakfast was poor, tomato barely warm, and toast literally shown the toaster. Bacon of poor quality and very undercooked. Will not revisit. |

| The room size was ok for a twin, however the bathroom was tiny with no room to keep personal bits in. Shower took ages to get temp right, coffee sachets the cheap and nasty variety. Breakfast would like to ask what is so famous about it!! Staff pleasant and friendly. My first stay at this hotel, unfortunately also my last. | |

| Unfortunately with the current exchange rate, we will not be able to visit your city and our favorite hotel this Spring. We will miss you. | |

| Our first visit to London - spent 5 nights in Cardiff. Liked it for the price and friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was very good. Room was not too bad for three people but if you are 200 pounds or more it would be hard to move in the bathroom/shower. I would recommend this B&B to everyone. The only bad memory is of the nearby grocery shop (Portland food and wine) where I was shortchanged twice and the Indian shopkeeper refused to give my change back. After that we were shopping at Sainsbury at Paddington station - cheaper and much friendlier. | |

| Small rooms, stale smelling, staff not exceptional. Generally there are better deals to be had in some of the larger hotels, and alternative locations just as handy with far superior service (and breakfasts!). | |

| We've stayed at the Cardiff 6 or 8 times in the last four years. It's location to Paddington station and bus lines is terrific. Some of the smaller interior rooms can be a bit dungeon like, so we try to book facing Norfolk Square. The price is right and the breakfast good. It's also within walking distance to the always active Edgeware Road.Filled with Middle Eastern restaurants and shops. | |

| Was ok, got room for GBP 29, had to go all the way up with no lift. Room clean, didn't smell *too* bad, small, but can't complain too much considering the price. Breakfast included: cereal, fruit, juice, full english breakfast. Very close to Paddington tube, Burger King, McDonalds and proper restaurants. |

| My family of 3 spent 1 night during Christmas 03. Convenient location. Reasonable price. Room was small, smelled stale and smoky but was relatively clean. Good breakfast. Probably wouldn't go back. | |

| Very nice B&B hotel, conveniently located close to Paddington Station and Heathrow Airport. 10 min's by tube to main attractions and theatre district etc. etc. If you can do with a small, clean and well functioning room this is the place. If you plan to triple your cost and have Hilton please do so, - I don't evn if I visit London on company account. Breakfast is rich, with bacon eggs beans etc. more types of cereals fruit juice etc. It keeps me going all day during business visits. You get your own key for the front door so time is no problem. Pricing policy is OK, £55 for a single fully equipped, free coffee etc. Several special discounts available througout the year. I have stayed in this nice and friendly B&B hotel for many occasions since 1999, latest for 3 nights here in Nov. '03, -- and will surely be back ..... |

| This was my first stay in this hotel. It is in superb location, so close to the station but in quiet square. The room was small, smelt very stale and smoky but was clean. The walls are thin so noise from other rooms kept me awake. The breakfast is really good, with both cooked breakfast, cereals, grapefruit etc. Good value at the price £39.00 but not good value if over £45.00 compared to other places. | |

| I was there on '02 Christmas in a triple room (GBP 55 Xmas offer). The room was small but comfortable and clean; the breakfast, superb. The staff were kind and helpful: we arrived at Cardiff hotel at 6:00 am and they invited us to have a coffe and to breakfast later. When I tried to pay our breakfast, they said "don't worry, it's free". They kept our lugagge and managed to do the check-in earlier because our little daughter was very tired. I'll ever be very grateful for that. We've already booked a room for our '03 Christmas holiday! | |

| This was our first overnight stay in London and we found this hotel on the net. The room cost £55 pernight (special offer) and accomodated up to six people. The price included a hearty english breakfast with unlimitted toast. Although the rooms were basic they were clean and warm and the staff were really helpful. On the whole very good value for money | |
